艾灸对宫寒有Effect吗
Moxibustion exerts warming effects on the meridians, dispels cold, and supports yang energy. It is clinically effective in treating “cold uterus” (a TCM pattern characterized by uterine coldness). For this condition, moxibustion may be applied to acupoints along the Ren Meridian—the meridian running along the midline of the chest and abdomen, extending from the sternum to the umbilicus.Recommended points include Guanyuan (CV4), Qihai (CV6), and Shenque (CV8). Guanyuan lies 3 cun below the umbilicus; Qihai, 1.5 cun below the umbilicus; and Shenque corresponds precisely to the center of the umbilicus.
Note that the “cun” measurement used here refers to the individual’s “body-inch”—a standardized proportional unit in TCM. Specifically, the combined width of the patient’s four fingers (excluding the thumb) equals 3 cun, while the width of the patient’s thumb equals 1 cun. These points are key tonifying acupoints vital for strengthening the body. They effectively supplement qi, nourish the primordial essence (yuan qi), invigorate qi circulation, promote blood circulation, and support yang energy.
