高度近视可以割双眼皮吗
High myopia is unrelated to double eyelid surgery and therefore does not affect the procedure.
The most significant risk associated with high myopia is its impact on vision. In cases of very high refractive error—such as over 1000 diopters—patients may develop posterior segment complications, including chorioretinal atrophy, retinal atrophic patches, exposure of large choroidal vessels, macular splitting, macular hemorrhage, retinal detachment, and retinal breaks.
These complications can severely impair visual function. Patients with high myopia should avoid strenuous physical activity in daily life to reduce the risk of serious complications. Additionally, adopting healthy visual habits is essential to prevent further progression of myopia. Nevertheless, high myopia does not contraindicate or interfere with double eyelid surgery.
