2. Parasites
Crabs often harbor numerous parasites. Moreover, some crabs are raised using hormonal feed. Either scenario poses significant risks to both the mother and the developing fetus. Thus, if consumed at all, crab must be thoroughly cooked—and intake should be kept to a minimum.
3. Exacerbation of pregnancy-related complications
