Introduction
A positive result for *Ureaplasma urealyticum* does not cause HPV positivity, as these two conditions result from infections by entirely different pathogens. *Ureaplasma urealyticum* infection can lead to inflammatory diseases affecting the reproductive and urinary systems. In contrast, HPV positivity is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection—a contagious disease. HPV types are categorized as either low-risk or high-risk, based on their oncogenic potential.

A positive result for *Ureaplasma urealyticum* does not cause HPV positivity. This is because a *Ureaplasma urealyticum* infection and an HPV infection are two distinct conditions caused by different pathogens. Specifically:

First, a positive *Ureaplasma urealyticum* test indicates an inflammatory condition resulting from infection with *Ureaplasma urealyticum*, which commonly causes inflammation in the genitourinary system. In men, *Ureaplasma urealyticum* infection is often asymptomatic. In women, symptoms may include dysuria or a burning sensation during urination, urinary frequency, pelvic or genital pain, and abnormal vaginal discharge.

HPV positivity reflects infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), a contagious disease. HPV strains are categorized as either low-risk or high-risk. HPV infection can lead to various clinical manifestations, including genital warts, flat warts, and common warts.

Therefore, a positive *Ureaplasma urealyticum* test and HPV infection represent inflammatory conditions caused by two entirely different pathogens; *Ureaplasma urealyticum* infection does not lead to HPV positivity.
