How to surgically remove crow’s feet
With aging, everyone develops facial wrinkles—such as crow’s feet—which can make the entire face appear older. So, how can crow’s feet be surgically removed?
Surgical Removal of Crow’s Feet
Crow’s feet can be treated using medical aesthetic procedures—for example, hydrating injections (“hydro-boosting” needles), subcutaneous injection of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, or laser or radiofrequency treatments to stimulate new collagen production, thereby restoring skin smoothness. Botulinum toxin injection is highly effective for eliminating crow’s feet. Before treating facial wrinkles, it is essential to first determine their type.

Generally, wrinkles fall into two categories: dynamic and static. Dynamic wrinkles result from facial expressions—such as contraction of the orbicularis oculi muscle (causing crow’s feet), repeated forehead elevation (causing forehead lines), or habitual frowning (causing glabellar lines). Repeated muscular contractions lead to these dynamic wrinkles. To treat them, botulinum toxin injections are used to relax the underlying muscles and smooth out the wrinkles.

Static wrinkles are typically fine and often associated with dry skin due to dehydration. These represent “true” wrinkles: prolonged facial movement causes collagen fibers to break down and collagen loss, ultimately resulting in permanent wrinkling. Daily hydration for the face and a diet rich in high-protein foods are recommended. We hope this information has been helpful!
