Introduction
First, consume an appropriate amount of fresh grapes. Grapes contain a substantial amount of tartaric acid, which can react with ethanol to reduce blood alcohol concentration. Second, drink an appropriate amount of water or watermelon juice to dilute alcohol and accelerate urinary excretion. Third, tomato juice can help alleviate dizziness following alcohol intoxication.

Some individuals become intoxicated easily after drinking alcohol. Intoxication may cause various uncomfortable symptoms, including headache, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. The following methods can help alleviate and treat these symptoms.

First, many patients experience nausea and vomiting after becoming intoxicated. In such cases, consuming a moderate amount of fresh grapes may be beneficial. Grapes contain abundant tartaric acid, which—upon entering the body—reacts with ethanol (alcohol) to form ester compounds. This reaction effectively reduces blood alcohol concentration.

Second, after intoxication, it is advisable to drink beverages with high water content, such as watermelon juice. Its high water content helps dilute alcohol in the bloodstream and promotes urinary excretion, thereby reducing alcohol absorption and preventing systemic symptoms like fever. Additionally, watermelon juice possesses heat-clearing and fire-purging properties, aiding in whole-body cooling.

Third, tomatoes—particularly tomato juice—can help relieve post-intoxication dizziness. Tomato juice is rich in fructose, which facilitates alcohol metabolism and absorption. Bananas may also alleviate discomfort following alcohol consumption. For instance, if chest tightness occurs after drinking, consuming one or two bananas can raise blood glucose levels, thereby lowering blood alcohol concentration and promoting sobering.
