Introduction
Frequent dreaming every night may be caused by psychological factors, high levels of mental stress, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and other reasons. 1. Psychological factors: Excessive anxiety or intrusive, uncontrolled thoughts. 2. High mental stress: Prolonged tension in the brain’s neural activity impairs sleep quality. 3. Autonomic nervous system dysfunction: This condition disrupts the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

Frequent dreaming every night may be caused by psychological factors, high levels of mental stress, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and other reasons.

1. Psychological factors: Excessive anxiety or persistent overthinking can lead to sleep disturbances, resulting in nightly dreaming. Some individuals may also experience insomnia or difficulty falling asleep. It is recommended to adjust one’s mindset; if self-regulation proves ineffective, psychotherapy may be necessary.

2. High mental stress: Intense mental pressure from work or daily life can keep the brain’s neural activity in a prolonged state of hyperarousal, thereby disrupting sleep. This may manifest as nightly dreaming and insomnia. Appropriate stress-reduction strategies are advised.

3. Autonomic nervous system dysfunction: Dysregulation between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems disrupts the balance of the autonomic nervous system, potentially leading to frequent dreaming every night. Some individuals may also experience emotional changes such as fear or tension. Under a physician’s guidance, medications such as oryzanol and vitamin B1—used to regulate autonomic nervous system function—may be prescribed.

Frequent nightly dreaming may also be associated with neurosis or chronic excessive alcohol consumption.
