Adverse reactions following administration of metoprolol tartrate sustained-release tablets may include bradycardia, conduction block, hypotension, and worsening heart failure. Metoprolol tartrate sustained-release tablets are primarily indicated for the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
