Dr. Kou Linlin
Right heart failure refers to impaired contractile function of the right ventricle. Patients with heart failure commonly experience exertional dyspnea, abdominal distension, nausea, and other symptoms. Under a physician’s guidance, appropriate pharmacological treatment—including diuretics and prostaglandin analogs—may be prescribed. Additionally, patients are advised to rest adequately in bed and avoid strenuous physical activity to prevent symptom exacerbation. Consumption of spicy or irritating foods should also be avoided.
