Drinking milk on an empty stomach may cause acid reflux, possibly due to reflux gastritis resulting from excessive gastric acid secretion. It is recommended to take omeprazole or rabeprazole to suppress gastric acid secretion, along with colloidal bismuth pectin to protect the gastric mucosa. Additionally, pay attention to dietary habits: avoid drinking milk on an empty stomach; avoid spicy, irritating, or hard-to-digest foods; and maintain regular meals. If discomfort persists for an extended period, it is advisable to undergo a gastroscopy at a hospital.
