Allergic purpura is primarily caused by ingestion of or contact with certain allergens, leading to a localized skin reaction. This condition is not contagious. If both the patient and family members currently exhibit symptoms of allergic purpura, it is important to consider whether they have been exposed to common allergenic substances—such as shared items or foods—that may have triggered the condition. Prompt identification of the underlying cause is essential to guide appropriate treatment.
