What causes headaches?
Disease description:
I’ve been experiencing frequent headaches lately, especially during winter. I’ve had a head examination, but no abnormalities were detected. What could be causing these headaches?
This is generally classified as functional headache. When the headache is severe and accompanied by vomiting, it may indicate a vascular or neurogenic headache. Headache has numerous potential causes, including external pathogenic factors (e.g., wind-cold or wind-heat), genetic predisposition, excessive physical fatigue, and psychological or emotional stress—all of which may trigger or exacerbate headache episodes. Analgesics may be used to relieve headache symptoms. Avoid consuming spicy or otherwise irritating foods.
