Clinically, hemorrhoids are the most common cause of your hematochezia (blood in stool). This condition is relatively common among pregnant women, often resulting from venous compression due to the growing uterus, leading to tortuosity and dilation of perianal blood vessels and subsequently causing bloody stools. We recommend that you consult a proctologist and undergo a perianal examination to confirm the diagnosis. If hemorrhoids are confirmed as the cause, topical hemorrhoid ointment may be used for treatment, and warm sitz baths with diluted potassium permanganate solution should be performed after each bowel movement.
