Is reduced urine output a sign of diabetic nephropathy?

Disease description:

My urine output has significantly decreased recently. A few days ago, a hospital test revealed elevated blood glucose levels, indicating a risk of diabetes. My current physical condition is poor. Could this reduced urine output be due to diabetic nephropathy?

Reduced urine output is not necessarily indicative of diabetic nephropathy; it may result from kidney disease, urinary tract infection, or metabolic disorders. In daily life, drink an appropriate amount of water to promote metabolism. Diet-wise, limit intake of foods high in sugar and starch, and instead consume more fresh vegetables and fruits. Engage in regular, moderate physical activity. If blood glucose levels remain uncontrolled, pharmacological treatment may be considered under medical guidance.
