I experienced severe pain on the inner side of my thighs two days ago, accompanied by several lumps; however, these lumps are non-tender upon palpation. Blood tests revealed inflammation, and I was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication. However, my lymph nodes have not yet subsided. What medication should I take for inguinal lymphadenopathy?

Enlarged inguinal lymph nodes are likely due to lymphadenitis. Treatment should be guided by the clinical presentation and may include anti-infective therapy. Oral antibiotics may be effective, whereas anti-inflammatory drugs alone are generally insufficient. A color Doppler ultrasound examination is also recommended. If clinically indicated, lymph node fine-needle aspiration biopsy with pathological examination may be necessary to rule out lymph node tuberculosis or lymphoma. Accurate identification of the underlying etiology is essential for optimal management.
