Can Guīyuán Capsules treat all diseases?

Guiyuan Capsules are not intended to treat all diseases; rather, they are classified as health supplements. Their primary ingredients—Chinese dates (red dates), Poria cocos, Chinese yam, and longan aril—are mild-natured, authentic traditional Chinese medicinal herbs that are also commonly used as food (“medicinal food”). They are suitable for individuals with spleen- and stomach-qi deficiency caused by prolonged irregular eating habits or dieting for weight loss. Typical symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, lethargy, weak limbs, drowsiness, poor appetite, intolerance to physical exertion, and shortness of breath upon minimal activity—all manifestations of deficient central qi. Guiyuan Capsules function solely as a tonic to replenish qi; they do not promote the transformation and transportation functions of the spleen and stomach.
