Long-term consumption of evening primrose oil may cause certain side effects. Women may experience endocrine imbalances, such as prolonged menstruation, menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, and amenorrhea. In adolescents, prolonged use may lead to precocious puberty, thereby interfering with normal physical development. Additionally, symptoms such as headache, nausea, indigestion, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur.
