Endometrial adenocarcinoma is a malignant tumor of the genital tract. Its primary manifestation is vaginal bleeding, typically scant in volume. Postmenopausal women may present with vaginal bleeding, whereas premenopausal women may experience menorrhagia, prolonged menstrual periods, or intermenstrual bleeding. A serosanguineous vaginal discharge is common; in advanced stages complicated by infection, purulent and bloody discharge with a foul odor may occur. Late-stage disease is often associated with abnormal lower abdominal and lumbosacral pain, which may radiate to the lower limbs and feet. Advanced patients may develop weight loss, anemia, fever, and systemic cachexia. Early-stage endometrial adenocarcinoma is frequently asymptomatic and may be detected incidentally during routine physical examination or identified following evaluation for irregular vaginal bleeding—often confirmed histopathologically after diagnostic curettage.
