Which foods have antioxidant properties?
I’m getting older, and recently I’ve been paying close attention to antioxidant and anti-aging strategies. Could you please recommend foods that have antioxidant properties?
Antioxidant-rich foods include mangosteen, pomelo, carrots, honey, tomatoes, grapes, sweet potatoes, corn, asparagus, cauliflower, eggplant, beets, shepherd’s purse, turnip greens, potatoes, golden needle mushrooms, winter cress, and Chinese cabbage.
Antioxidant foods are also known as anti-aging foods. Hawthorn, for instance, contains flavonoids, vitamin C, and carotenoids, which help scavenge and reduce free radical formation while enhancing immune function—offering significant health benefits to the human body.
