Placental extract from sheep can enhance the body’s resistance and immune function. Appropriate injection of sheep placenta may delay aging, improve skin appearance, and exert a regulatory effect on the endocrine system. However, after injection, a small number of individuals may experience localized edema at the injection site or develop low-grade fever; these symptoms typically resolve spontaneously within approximately three days. Additionally, sheep placenta contains exogenous hormones, which may disrupt the body’s endocrine balance and thereby affect women’s menstrual cycles.
