Pelvic adhesions in women can lead to infertility. These adhesions may cause menstrual irregularities, amenorrhea, low back pain, abdominal pain, and anovulation. When adhesions involve the uterus, ovaries, or fallopian tubes, they can further result in ovulatory dysfunction and tubal obstruction, thereby interfering with the normal union of sperm and ova—potentially leading to female infertility or ectopic pregnancy.
