Oryzanol tablets belong to the class of sedative and sleep-aid medications. Their primary action is to regulate autonomic nervous system dysfunction and endocrine imbalances. They are indicated for sedation and sleep improvement in neurosis, premenstrual tension syndrome, and menopausal syndrome. Additionally, this drug may be used for autonomic nervous system dysfunction, cyclical psychosis, sequelae of cerebral palsy, and vascular headaches; however, its efficacy in these conditions may be limited.
