How to Remove Small Skin Tags on the Neck
Disease description:
Yesterday, while showering, I felt a small skin tag on my neck and would like to know how to remove it.
There are multiple potential causes for small skin growths on the neck, and treatment should be tailored based on an accurate diagnosis. Most commonly, these small growths are filiform warts, which can be treated using physical modalities such as laser therapy or liquid nitrogen cryotherapy. Alternatively, they may represent subcutaneous fibromas—benign fibrous tumors—which often require no treatment; however, if removal is desired, laser ablation or electrocautery may be employed. Topical application of lidocaine ointment or similar agents may also be used for symptomatic relief or adjunctive management.
