If a child repeatedly develops fever, it is recommended to take the child to a reputable hospital to determine the underlying cause and receive targeted treatment. If the fever is due to a respiratory tract infection, medications such as levofloxacin or phenylephrine–acetaminophen–dextromethorphan tablets may be prescribed under a physician’s guidance. If the fever results from bacterial or viral infection, medications such as Lianhua Qingwen Capsules or Qingkailing Oral Liquid may be used. When the child’s body temperature exceeds 38.3°C, antipyretics should be administered promptly.
