What are the symptoms of spastic paralysis?
Disease description:
I’ve recently experienced weakness in all four limbs and am worried it might be spastic paralysis. What are the symptoms of spastic paralysis?
Symptoms of spastic paralysis include bilateral leg weakness leading to gait difficulty, progressive atrophy of the calf muscles, increased muscle tone and stiffness in the legs, frequent falls, a scissor-like gait pattern, and minimal pain perception upon impact with gravity. Spastic paralysis can be treated surgically, and regular massage therapy may also help alleviate symptoms. Additionally, adequate rest, sufficient sleep, and maintaining an optimistic, positive mindset are essential.
