When selecting Sanfu patches, note the following: application should be performed on a clear morning, and children should wear the patches for approximately three hours. During the application period, patients must avoid “heat-inducing” foods—such as lamb. Mild redness and itching at the application site are normal reactions. However, if burning or pain occurs, the patch should be promptly removed and residual medication thoroughly cleaned off; recovery typically occurs spontaneously.
