At seven months of pregnancy, the fetal biparietal diameter (BPD) is typically around 7 cm. As long as the BPD falls within the normal range, there is no cause for concern. If the BPD is relatively small, it may indicate suboptimal fetal growth, and nutritional supplementation may be necessary. After eight months of pregnancy, the fetal BPD increases by approximately 0.2 cm per week.
