Yunnan Baiyao is not effective for treating gastric disorders. Gastric disorders encompass a broad range of conditions; while Yunnan Baiyao may alleviate symptoms in some cases, it does not provide therapeutic benefits for gastric diseases. Although Yunnan Baiyao possesses certain anti-inflammatory, blood-activating and stasis-resolving, and hemostatic properties—thereby aiding wound healing—it is not indicated for the treatment of gastric disorders. Gastric disorders have well-defined etiologies and clinical manifestations, requiring systematic, individualized treatment based on the specific type and underlying cause.
