Genital warts primarily refer to condyloma acuminatum. Interleukin therapy has demonstrated some efficacy in treating condyloma acuminatum; however, its effectiveness is limited and mainly confined to alleviating local symptoms. Interleukins help modulate the body’s immune function. Nevertheless, condyloma acuminatum results from infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), necessitating prompt antiviral treatment. Concurrently, systemic immunomodulatory therapy may be appropriately employed alongside antiviral treatment to achieve clinical improvement.
