During washing, avoid using soaps or body washes; instead, gently pat the skin dry and immediately apply a topical moisturizer such as vitamin E cream to hydrate and nourish the skin. Additionally, dietary adjustments may help relieve dryness. Incorporate foods rich in essential vitamins into your daily diet—such as nuts, animal liver, and whole-grain products—and consume ample fresh fruits and vegetables. Include moderate amounts of protein-rich foods, drink plenty of water, and consider taking oral supplements of vitamin E and vitamin C to help reduce skin dryness.
