When infants develop a formula milk allergy, the primary manifestations include respiratory symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, and eczema. Respiratory symptoms may include coughing, nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, dyspnea, and tachypnea. Gastrointestinal symptoms may present as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, or hematochezia. Eczema commonly appears on the face, forehead, or scalp, manifesting as red rashes and pruritus.
