Herpes zoster primarily occurs following a decline in immunity; factors such as excessive fatigue and sleep deprivation may trigger its onset. At the time of onset, patients typically experience significant neuropathic pain, often accompanied by clustered vesicular skin lesions. Patients are advised to maintain proper skin care in daily life, ensure local hygiene, avoid scratching the affected areas with hands to prevent secondary bacterial infection, and allow the vesicles to crust over naturally as the disease progresses.
