Recurrent and severe allergic skin diseases
Disease description:
Hello, my friend previously had allergic dermatitis. What should we do now that the allergic dermatitis has recurred and become severe?
Recurrent and severe allergic skin diseases require first identifying and eliminating potential allergens, including foods, medications, and environmental triggers. Second, oral medications such as olopatadine hydrochloride tablets, Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Rehmannia Six Formula), and compound glycyrrhizin tablets may be prescribed. Additionally, a mixture of coal tar ointment and urea vitamin E cream can be applied topically twice daily—morning and evening. Patients must also avoid spicy foods, alcohol, and staying up late, as these are strictly contraindicated.
