Disease description:

Common diseases in hepatobiliary surgery include: cirrhosis, pancreatitis, alcoholic liver disease, gallstones, gallbladder polyps, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, “Big Three Positive” (i.e., chronic hepatitis B with positive HBsAg, HBeAg, and anti-HBc), extrahepatic bile duct stones, hepatic ascites, cholecystolithiasis, and choledocholithiasis.
Other conditions include: fatty liver disease, cholecystitis, gallbladder cancer, congenital biliary dilatation, congenital biliary atresia, primary liver cancer, hepatic hydatid disease, hepatic rupture, hepatic abscess, liver failure, and Wilson’s disease (hepatolenticular degeneration).
