Axillary osmidrosis (body odor) can be managed primarily through non-surgical and surgical approaches. Non-surgical treatment involves topical application of medications to neutralize sweat. Alternatively, botulinum toxin injections administered into the subcutaneous tissue can effectively suppress sweat gland secretion, thereby alleviating symptoms. Surgical treatment entails excision of the hyperhidrotic skin in the axillary region; however, this approach is associated with a relatively large wound surface. Currently, minimally invasive techniques—such as small-incision subcutaneous curettage and excision of the apocrine glands—are more commonly employed, offering a more thorough and effective solution.
