Baby powder can be used on a baby’s face. It has cooling, anti-itch, and wind-dampness-dispelling properties, and does not irritate the infant’s skin, making it safe for use. However, baby powder must not be applied if the facial skin is broken or ulcerated, as it may worsen the ulceration. Additionally, avoid applying baby powder around the eyes. If symptoms do not improve within three days, discontinue use immediately. Patients experiencing such symptoms are advised to seek prompt medical evaluation and treatment.
