For preconception care, you may visit either the Department of Gynecology or the Department of Reproductive Medicine (or Infertility and Sterility). It is highly recommended that both partners undergo relevant examinations. For men, these primarily include basic physical examinations and semen analysis. For women, in addition to basic physical examinations, gynecological evaluations are also necessary—such as pelvic ultrasound (to assess the uterus and adnexa), evaluation of fallopian tube patency, and assessment of ovulation status.
