What are the specific symptoms of palpitations?
Disease description:
Every time I drink alcohol, I feel my heart beating strongly and experience severe palpitations—similar to what is medically termed “palpitations.” What are the specific symptoms of palpitations?
Symptoms of palpitations include a sensation of heart fluttering or pounding, discomfort associated with heartbeat, and specific sensations such as vibration, sinking, fluttering, thumping, pauses, or accelerated heart sounds. Cardiac pulsations may become irregular. Some patients may also experience fatigue, chest tightness, shortness of breath, or sudden syncope. Palpitations may worsen under conditions such as emotional instability, excessive alcohol consumption, intense physical exercise, dietary factors, or medication use.
