There are numerous anticancer drugs, and the specific choice depends on the individual patient’s condition. During chemotherapy, agents such as paclitaxel, docetaxel, oxaliplatin, capecitabine, and tegafur/gimeracil/oteracil (S-1) capsules may be used. For immunotherapy, drugs such as pembrolizumab or toripalimab may be administered. If a targetable molecular alteration is identified in the patient’s tumor, targeted therapy agents—such as gefitinib—may be selected.
