Hello, The sequelae of a fracture largely depend on whether there is associated damage to blood vessels and nerves at the fracture site. If the fracture involves a joint, complications such as joint stiffness and restricted joint mobility may occur. Particularly in weight-bearing lower-limb joints, post-traumatic osteoarthritis and associated pain may develop. Regular rehabilitation exercises and increased intake of calcium supplements—especially those that enhance calcium absorption—can help alleviate these sequelae. We hope the above information is helpful to you. Wishing you a happy and healthy life!
