What causes testicular and lower abdominal pain and distension?
Disease description:
My testicles feel slightly painful, and I also experience lower abdominal distension and pain. I’m worried that I might have an illness. Could you please explain what might cause testicular and lower abdominal pain and distension?
Testicular and lower abdominal distension pain are commonly associated with conditions such as ureteral calculi or inflammatory irritation. For instance, when ureteral stones are present, stone movement typically causes lower abdominal distension and pain; in severe cases, the pain may radiate to the testicles, perineum, and scrotum, resulting in the aforementioned symptoms. Additionally, such pain may stem from inflammatory conditions like epididymitis or orchitis; in severe cases, the pain may radiate to the lower abdomen, leading to distension and pain there.
