Can individuals with osteoporosis use Estradiol Valerate Tablets (Progynova)?

Physician’s Recommendation: Estradiol valerate tablets are primarily indicated for menopausal symptoms following natural menopause or for estrogen deficiency resulting from oophorectomy or non-cancer-related radiation-induced castration. Symptoms include night sweats, hot flashes, sleep disturbances, depression, irritability, headache, and dizziness. These tablets help alleviate menopausal syndrome and prevent osteoporosis—but are not indicated for the treatment of established osteoporosis.
