Ebola virus hemorrhagic fever presents with a variety of symptoms. Initially, patients may experience high fever, myalgia, headache, and fatigue. Subsequently, diarrhea, rash, and vomiting may develop. By days 3–4 of illness, persistent high fever, abdominal pain, headache, nausea, and vomiting commonly occur. Some patients exhibit hemorrhagic manifestations, including gingival bleeding, hematochezia, and hematemesis. Severe diarrhea can lead to dehydration and may be accompanied by hepatic and renal dysfunction, multi-organ hemorrhage, and shock.
