What are the symptoms of anal canal inflammation?
Disease description:
For the past few days, I have consistently experienced throbbing pain in the anal region. After searching online, I found that this may be due to anal canal inflammation (anal canalitis). What symptoms are typically associated with anal canalitis?
Anal canal inflammation is a common clinical condition characterized by persistent, pulsating anal pain. Some patients may also experience pruritus ani, perianal moisture, a sensation of rectal fullness or heaviness, and abnormal defecation. This condition frequently co-occurs with proctitis and anal sinusitis. Additional associated symptoms may include poor appetite, irregular bowel movements, and general discomfort. Early detection and prompt treatment are crucial.
