Individuals with high blood glucose levels should generally avoid taking Shen Ling Bai Zhu Granules. The main ingredients of this preparation include ginseng, poria, Chinese yam, stir-fried hyacinth bean, platycodon root, and licorice; lactose is used as an excipient. Taking Shen Ling Bai Zhu Granules when blood glucose is elevated may exacerbate blood glucose fluctuations, thereby impeding disease control. If individuals with hyperglycemia require other medications, they must strictly follow their physician’s instructions.
