What ointment should be used after bed bug bites?

After being bitten by mosquitoes or other insects, topical application of flurandrenolide–borneol ointment may be used. Oral medications such as loratadine or Xiaofeng Zhiyang Granules may also be taken. If the bite site is scratched open, the wound should be cleaned with iodine tincture and kept clean. Additionally, topical or systemic anti-infective agents may be applied to promote rapid recovery. Following insect bites, avoid consuming spicy, irritating foods and alcoholic beverages.
