My setting powder has run out. I think my baby’s diaper rash powder is similar to setting powder, so it should work. I’m considering using the diaper rash powder on my face—can diaper rash powder be used on the face?

Talcum powder should not be used on the face. Applying talcum powder to the face may lead to inhalation of the powder, increasing the risk of respiratory infections, allergic asthma, aspiration pneumonia, and irritation of sensitive areas such as the eyes and nose. Prolonged inhalation of talc can impair respiratory immunity, thereby predisposing individuals to infection. Individuals with excessively oily skin may use oil-absorbing sheets to control sebum, choose oil-cleansing facial cleansers for cleansing, maintain good personal hygiene, and keep the face clean.
