What to Eat in Autumn for Healthy, Hydrated Skin
Disease description:
My skin tends to become dry every autumn. What foods are beneficial for the skin during this season?
In autumn, the weather tends to be dry; therefore, it is advisable to consume foods with nourishing-yin and moistening-drying properties to help improve skin condition. Examples include goji-bilberry and tremella soup, fritillary-bulb-stewed pear, and goji-lemon water. These foods help nourish yin fluids, moisten dryness, nourish the lungs and kidneys, promote the production of body fluids, and relieve thirst—thereby helping, to some extent, alleviate dry skin.
