The nasal bones can be reduced in size through surgery. Typically, incisions are made on both sides of the alae nasi (nostrils), exposing the nasal bones for resection. Although this surgical approach is relatively invasive, it yields excellent results and is one of the most commonly performed rhinoplasty procedures. During the postoperative recovery period, patients must carefully protect the nasal area and attend regular follow-up examinations.
