Patients with hyperglycemia may take Wuji Baifeng Wan; however, this is merely a traditional Chinese patent medicine that functions to tonify Qi and nourish blood, regulate menstruation, and stop excessive vaginal discharge—yet it has no therapeutic effect on hyperglycemia. If patients with hyperglycemia experience menstrual irregularities or menorrhagia, Wuji Baifeng Wan may be used to address associated symptoms such as dual deficiency of Qi and blood, physical debility, and soreness and weakness in the lower back and knees. It may also be employed for symptoms including palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue, and general weakness.
